Volunteer
Be a part of a caring team! The success of our shelter is based on the contributions of our wonderful volunteers. Take a look at our volunteer opportunities, complete and sign the application and agreement forms, and return them to us.
The information will help us find the volunteer work that you would most enjoy. We will review your information and our volunteer coordinator will contact you to discuss the best way to proceed. Any amount of time you can donate is appreciated.
Please call Leslie at (508) 485.0794 or Jacqui at (508)875.3776 with questions you may have.

TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) Feedings
We are looking for responsible individuals to help us with feedings at our managed feral cat colony sites in the Framingham, Ashland area. A feral cat is a cat who has either lived his whole life with little or no human contact and is not socialized, or is a stray cat who was lost or abandoned and has lived away from human contact long enough to revert to a wild state. Adult feral cats usually cannot be socialized and are most content living outside. Rather than euthanizing these feral cats, many shelters participate in the trap-neuter-return program.
Feral cats live in colonies and congregate near food sources. Cats are humanely (and painlessly) trapped, spayed or neutered, evaluated, vaccinated, and returned to their colony site where they can no longer contribute to cat overpopulation or spread illness. Volunteer caretakers (you) provide them with food, water, and shelter. You will get to know the cats at the site you are feeding (and will probably give them names) – and they get to know you as their food source and their friend. The nourishment we provide sustains them, and the small shelter houses we supply offer the cats shelter from the elements. We provide the food – you provide the commitment and transportation. What a great way to volunteer.
Please call Sue, our program coordinator at (508) 788.7726 if you’re interested in volunteering and would like more information.
Animal Caregivers
We’ve increased our shelter size; now we need to increase our volunteer base. Be part of a wonderful organization, work in a beautiful facility, make lasting friendships (human and feline), and feel good about what you are doing. Daytime and evening volunteers needed.
Please call Leslie at (508) 485.0794 if you can devote even a small amount of time.
